Becoming a Member of the Astra PLUThe Astra PLU offers several levels of membership: Primary members have full participation rights in Astra and are also members of NAP and WSAP. Membership in NAP and WSAP requires successful passage of an examination of basic parliamentary procedure based on Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised, 10th Edition. Astra PLU will administer the NAP membership examination to those wishing to take the test. Provisional membership is offered to those who are not members of NAP and WSAP. Provisional membership is appropriate for those who are preparing to take the NAP membership exam as well as those who are simply interested in a basic study of parliamentary procedure. Provisional members have most rights of Astra membership. Astra also offers an affiliate membership for those who are members of other units but wish to have full membership rights in Astra. Astra PLU dues are $15.00 per year. Primary and affiliate members must also pay State and National dues directly to NAP. We welcome new members.
